We are seeking a skilled
Estimation and Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical designs and cost estimates for crane systems and material handling equipment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- > Study client requirements and prepare technical proposals accordingly.
- > Estimate project costs and create bill of materials (BOM).
- > Design mechanical and structural components using AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
- > Coordinate with the sales, procurement, and production teams.
- > Attend technical discussions and clarification meetings with clients.
- > Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards (IS, FEM, etc.).
- > Support R&D for design improvement and product development.
Qualifications & Skills
- > B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
- > 2–5 years of experience in the crane or material handling industry.
- > Proficiency in AutoCAD; SolidWorks or other 3D tools is an advantage.
- > Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- > Understanding of crane components, load calculations, and safety norms.
- > Good communication and documentation skills.
