Job Description

About Hissa

Hissa is an ESOP and equity management platform that helps organizations design, manage, and operate equity programs with precision. We work across the corporate ecosystem, supporting companies at different stages of maturity, including private and publicly listed entities. We focus on translating complex equity mechanics into well-run, compliant, and scalable programs.

Role Description

Equity programs are complex. Running them well requires precision, judgement, and a deep understanding of how ESOPs work across their full lifecycle. We are looking for an experienced ESOP Operations & Advisory Lead to strengthen our ESOP advisory, implementation, and operations function. This role sits at the intersection of ESOP advisory, client operations, compliance workflows, and product implementation.

You will work on

  1. End-to-end ESOP operations.
  2. ESOP policy interpretation, lifecycle events (grants, vesting, exercises, lapses, cancellations, exits, and reporting), and operational best practices.
  3. Client implementations and migrations onto the Hissa platform. Product demos and technical ESOP discussions with founders, finance, HR, legal, and secretarial teams.
  4. Creating internal playbook, templates, checklists, and process documentation.
  5. Partnering with the product team to translate real-world ESOP challenges into our platform features.

This role may be a fit if you

  1. Have 4–6 years hands-on ESOP execution experience - not just theoretical knowledge.
  2. Understand ESOP structures, accounting, compliance, taxation basics, and lifecycle events.
  3. Can explain complex ESOP concepts clearly to different stakeholders.
  4. Are comfortable leading client calls and technical ESOP discussions. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Have strong attention to detail and can own operational accuracy end to end.
  6. Finally, if you've run ESOP implementations, managed compliance workflows, or advised founders on equity design, you're in the right place.

Relevant backgrounds include ESOP platforms, equity management platforms, advisory firms, law firms, startup finance teams, HR/compensation teams, or company secretarial teams with deep ESOP exposure.

Send your resume and a brief note on why you're drawn to this role to [Confidential Information].

We read every application. If your background fits, we'll reach out within a week.
