Position Summary
We are looking for a seasoned
Enterprise Service Management (ESM) and ServiceNow Pre-Sales Solution Architect with deep expertise in
ServiceNow, ITIL, and
SIAM. This role plays a critical part in supporting sales teams by driving ITSM/SIAM/ServiceNow opportunities, designing tailored solutions, and leading pre-sales engagements. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional and technical solutioning capabilities, a strategic mindset, and hands-on experience in proposal development, effort estimation, and pricing. Prior experience in ITSM and SIAM operations using ServiceNow is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Sales Engagement & Solutioning
- Lead pre-sales engagements for SIAM, ITSM, and ServiceNow, including requirement analysis, solution design, and proposal development.
- Design customized solutions using ServiceNow and, where applicable, other ITSM platforms, aligned with client needs and Visonet's service offerings.
- Prepare and deliver client-facing presentations, product demonstrations, and solution walkthroughs.
- Proposal Development & Commercials
- Respond to RFI, RFP, and BAFO stages with comprehensive functional and technical inputs.
- Estimate resource effort, define scope of work, and collaborate with pricing teams to finalize commercial proposals.
- Ensure all proposals are aligned with client objectives, technical feasibility, and delivery capabilities.
- Client Interaction & Relationship Management
- Engage with clients to understand business challenges and position relevant SIAM/ITSM/ServiceNow solutions.
- Travel to domestic and international client sites for workshops, presentations, and solution defense.
- Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
- Internal Collaboration & Handover
- Collaborate with sales, delivery, and practice teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.
- Provide detailed documentation and support during project initiation and handover phases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Functional & Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of SIAM and ITIL frameworks, and ITSM/SIAM processes.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with ServiceNow - implementation, usage, or consulting.
- Proven expertise in pre-sales solutioning, architecture, and proposal development for ServiceNow, SIAM, and ITSM.
- Ability to analyze complex requirements and design scalable, cost-effective solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and collaboration platforms (Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and business writing skills.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (mandatory).
- Master's degree (MBA preferred) is an advantage.
Experience
- 1015 years of overall IT experience, with at least 58 years in pre-sales and solution architecture for SIAM, ITSM, and ServiceNow.
- Experience in operational or delivery roles using ITIL and ServiceNow is a plus.
Certifications
- SIAM/ITIL Foundation (mandatory); Intermediate/Expert level preferred.
- ServiceNow CSA and CIS certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
