POSITION OVERVIEW

Work directly with clients to develop, implement, and enhance ESG strategies while managing project delivery and contributing to proprietary ESG solutions. Based in Bangalore with regular client engagement in Delhi.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Management & Advisory

• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned client portfolio, including key Delhi-based accounts

• Conduct ESG assessments, gap analyses, and materiality assessments

• Develop tailored ESG strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans

• Support ESG reporting preparation (BRSR, GRI, CDP, EcoVadis, S&P CSA, CSRD)

• Guide ESG risk identification, measurement, and mitigation

• Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions and present to senior client stakeholders

• Travel to Delhi regularly to manage client relationships on-site

Project Management & Delivery

• Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring quality and timely delivery

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain project documentation

• Develop and maintain project plans, trackers, and status reports

• Support onboarding of new clients and set up engagement frameworks

• Contribute to proprietary ESG assessment tools, templates, and frameworks

Research & Analysis

• Conduct industry benchmarking and peer analysis across sectors

• Monitor evolving ESG regulations and standards globally (BRSR Core, CSRD, ISSB, EU Taxonomy)

• Analyse ESG data for trends, risks, and opportunities

• Evaluate supply chain sustainability practices and third-party ESG ratings

• Produce research briefs, sector reports, and thought leadership inputs

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's: Environmental Science, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field

• Master's Preferred: MBA, MSc in Sustainability, Environmental Management

• Professional Certifications (Preferred): GRI Certified Training, SASB FSA, CFA ESG, CDP-accredited training

• 2–4 years in ESG consulting, sustainability advisory / audit, or corporate sustainability

• Client-facing consulting or advisory experience

• ESG reporting and disclosure preparation background

• Willingness to travel to Delhi regularly

• Data analysis tools (Excel, PowerBI, Tableau)

• Carbon accounting methodologies and LCA principles

• ESG rating agencies and methodologies

• Sustainability reporting standards
