Job Title: ESG Business Analyst

Job Location: Singapore

Job Description:-

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document ESG-related requirements
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications for data and analytics solutions
• Work with data engineering and data science teams to design and implement ESG reporting and analytics solutions
• Analyse ESG datasets (e.g. carbon emissions, sustainability metrics, compliance data) to identify trends and insights
• Support the development of ESG dashboards, KPIs, and performance tracking frameworks
• Ensure alignment with recognised ESG standards and frameworks (e.g. GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB)
• Contribute to defining data models, governance practices, and data quality standards for ESG reporting
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate system outputs against requirements
• Provide input on ESG-related products, services, and regulatory considerations
• Prepare documentation such as business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), use cases, and process maps
• Facilitate communication between business, product, and technical teams

Requirements

• A degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Sustainability, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in ESG, sustainability, or financial services domains
• Understanding of ESG concepts, reporting frameworks, and sustainability metrics
• Experience with data analytics, data modelling, and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with data science concepts, including statistical analysis and predictive modelling
• Exposure to SQL and/or Python/R for data analysis is advantageous
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
