Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst with a strong interest in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and Sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of ESG reporting, analysis, and sustainability initiatives. As a Business Analyst in this field, you will support the development and implementation of sustainability strategies, providing insights and analysis to help drive the organization's ESG objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting ESG-related data and metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand sustainability needs and translate them into actionable business solutions.
- Support ESG reporting and compliance efforts, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Conduct data analysis to track the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives.
- Develop presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate key ESG insights to stakeholders.
- Conduct research on industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulations related to ESG and sustainability.
- Assist in the development and execution of sustainability-related projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, ideally with a focus on ESG and sustainability.
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, reporting standards, and sustainability practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and ability to present findings effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for sustainability and making a positive impact through business practices.
- Knowledge of sustainability certifications, ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD, SASB).
- Experience working in sustainability consulting or a similar role.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and corporate sustainability goals.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
