Role Overview
The Head – Education & Skill Development (ESD) will be responsible for driving the organization's vision in education, workforce development, vocational training, skilling initiatives, and institutional development.
The role requires a seasoned leader capable of building large-scale educational ecosystems, managing ITIs and skill development centers, driving learner acquisition, generating revenue through educational products and paid courses, and creating strategic partnerships with government bodies, educational institutions, industry stakeholders, and corporate organizations.
The incumbent will lead the complete lifecycle of education and skill development programs—from conceptualization and curriculum design to implementation, scaling, impact measurement, compliance management, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and execute the organization's long-term strategy for education, skilling, training, and workforce development.
• Build a sustainable education and skilling ecosystem aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify emerging trends in education, employability, vocational training, and digital learning.
• Lead organizational transformation initiatives related to learning and development.
• Drive innovation in skill development and vocational education delivery models.
Education & Skill Development Programs
• Design, develop, and implement innovative education and skill development programs.
• Create industry-aligned curricula focused on employability and workforce readiness.
• Ensure all programs meet quality standards, accreditation requirements, NSQF norms, and regulatory compliance.
• Establish assessment, certification, and outcome measurement frameworks.
• Drive adoption of technology-enabled learning models, LMS platforms, and blended learning methodologies.
• Oversee operations and quality standards across training centers, academies, and educational institutions.
ITI & Government Skill Program Management
• Lead the establishment, management, and expansion of Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and vocational training centers.
• Ensure compliance with NCVT, SCVT, DGT, NSDC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage and monitor government-funded skill development projects, including:
o PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana)
o DDU-GKY (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana)
o State Skill Development Mission Projects
o CSR-Funded Skill Development Initiatives
• Drive learner mobilization, training delivery, assessments, certifications, placements, and project compliance.
• Monitor project KPIs, audits, inspections, and reporting requirements.
Business Development & Revenue Generation
• Drive revenue growth through educational services, certification programs, paid courses, executive education, and training solutions.
• Develop monetization strategies for learning products and skill development initiatives.
• Identify new business opportunities within the education and skilling ecosystem.
• Build scalable models for learner acquisition and retention.
• Create partnerships with corporates for employee training, upskilling, and reskilling initiatives.
• Manage education business P&L and profitability targets.
Government & Institutional Partnerships
Establish Strategic Relationships With:
