ESC Sourcing Lead
OVERVIEW
The External Supply Chain (ESC) Associate Sourcing Manager will be primarily responsible to support the CEEMEA (Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) region within Global Emerging Markets, while also potentially providi ng support for other countries within this region.
The ESC Associate Sourcing Manager will be responsible for building and executing ESC strategies in support of business needs, specific to CEEMEA (Central Europe, Middle East Asia) GEMs region. The responsibilities of the role include delivering manufacturing solutions in support of business priorities, supplier performance management and relationship ownership, stakeholder engagement, Total Value creation, and building ESC network strategies. This individual will work closely with the GEMs SC leadership team, Business teams, ITQ (Innovation Technology & Quality), Sourcing Team and broad cross functional teams to deliver ESC solutions matched to business needs. They will also be responsible for developing the ESC Network strategy for the key GEMs markets, in support and partnership with GEMs Supply Chain Leadership Team and direct manager. The role will report into the GEMs ESC leader within the International ESC pillar, and will receive longer term strategic direction and annual priorities from this leader, aligned to International ESC strategic objectives.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead commercial & technical HMM (Holistic Margin Management( pipeline development and execution -including bid strategies, negotiations, manufacturing improvements, etc.
- Manage & communicate performance metrics at ESC sites
- Responsible for new product capabilities - new ESC site identification/searches for new product launches
- Execute Supplier relationship management plans in partnership with key stakeholders for key suppliers
- Leverage Source to Pay tools and processes across the ESC Category complying with corporate and regulatory policies and accounting practices
- Gather and understand category market intelligence, benchmarking, and industry best practices
- Ensure supply/services and budget are appropriately managed, the sourcing process is followed, and standards are maintained.
- Support key business financial processes - monthly MMO/PPV reporting, provide international and business updates, region inflation guidance and budgeting
- Identify and lead Improve initiatives at critical sites or charter Improve initiatives that could drive high value for GMI.
- Partner with local Sourcing team to deploy needed capabilities and best practices in ESC
- As needed, engage in support and exploration of surrounding markets for future opportunities for expanded partnerships, other Suppliers and new capabilities that might be available in the region
- Support broader ESC needs in GEMs as determined by direct manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Engineering
- 7+ yrs of Sourcing / Purchasing / Supply Chain/Manufacturing/Engineering experience
- Ability to lead through change

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant skills and experience in complex contract negotiations, bidding strategies, supplier management, risk management, market analysis, financial analysis, project management
- Previous Business facing experience
- An interest to learn more about supply chain
- Experience influencing others in a global, dynamic organization
- Sourcing and Partnership Development experience in the CPG industry
- Previous experience managing Suppliers in the region
