Job Description
Zensar Technologies is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with 5+ years of hands-on expertise. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in development and debugging within the core Sales and Service Cloud, along with the additional skills outlined in the responsibilities section. This role involves developing and customizing Salesforce solutions, providing support for existing implementations, assisting senior developers and the broader team when needed, and ensuring all work aligns with established best practices.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Salesforce Development & Customization
- Develop and maintain Apex Classes, Triggers, and basic Visualforce Pages under guidance.
- Build Lightning Web Components (LWC) for simple UI enhancements.
- Implement Flows and Declarative Automations for business logic.
- Integration Support
- Assist in developing basic REST/SOAP API integrations.
- Work with senior team members on middleware tools and third-party connectors.
- Support configuration for OAuth and SSO under supervision.
- Performance & Debugging
- Optimize SOQL queries and Apex code for efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to workflows and security.
- Ensure data consistency across Salesforce applications.
- Collaboration & Agile Development
- Work closely with senior developers, BAs, and QA teams.
- Participate in Agile sprints, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.
- Document technical changes and assist in deployment activities.
- DevOps & Deployment Support
- Learn and assist with Salesforce DevOps tools (Copado, Git).
- Support sandbox-to-production migration and release processes.
- Help automate unit testing using Salesforce DX under guidance.
- Administration
- Create and manage Users, Roles, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules.
- Configure Page Layouts, Record Types, Validation Rules, and Custom Objects/Fields.
- Manage Reports, Dashboards, and Data Loader operations for imports/exports.
- Monitor system health, storage limits, and login/access issues.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Basic hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL, and Triggers.
- Familiarity with Flows, Process Builder, and declarative tools.
- Understanding of Salesforce security model, profiles, and permission sets.
- Exposure to Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Knowledge of basic integration concepts (REST/SOAP APIs) preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and willingness to learn DevOps tools.
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Admin) preferred.
