Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled SAP FICO consultant to contribute to our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in facilitating the implementation and support of SAP Financials, focusing on FICO Controlling. They will be responsible for managing and owning all aspects of technical development and delivery, understanding requirements, and providing appropriate system solutions. With a strong background in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA, the candidate will have the expertise to lead and mentor small-sized teams, ensuring successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and own all aspects of technical development and delivery, ensuring efficient project management.
- Understand and analyze complex business process requirements, providing appropriate system solutions.
- Write Functional Specification documents, clearly outlining project requirements and specifications.
- Lead and mentor small-sized teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
- Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives, developing necessary product modifications.
- Identify gaps, issues, and work-around solutions, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Document functional designs, test cases, and results, maintaining high-quality documentation.
- Proactively propose business process and system enhancements, driving continuous improvement.
- Provide consulting services on new implementations and existing support projects, offering expert guidance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA, with a focus on implementation, support, and rollout projects.
- Deep understanding of Business Process Knowledge and project implementation methodologies.
- SAP Certification and extensive domain experience in SAP FICO are highly preferred.
- Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules, such as MM, HR, PP, SD, PS, and PM.
- Strong knowledge of SLAs and experience in identifying RCAs, ensuring efficient ticket management.
- Proficiency in FI-Core (GL/New GL/AR/AP), CO-Core (Cost Center, Internal Order), and Fixed Assets.
- Experience in Parallel Accounting/Document Splitting, Profit Center and Segment Accounting, and Core ERP Planning and Budgeting.
- S/4 HANA experience is mandatory, with expertise in ECC to Rise with SAP S/4HANA cloud conversion.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle implementation and support projects.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a goal-oriented environment.
