To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, were looking to add a Junior Engineer -IT located in Bangalore, Bingipura.
What a typical day looks like:
- Act as the primary point of contact for ERP-related issues and queries at the site.
- Responsible for providing hands-on technical and functional support for the ERP system at the site level
- Ensures smooth day-to-day ERP operations, assists end users, troubleshoots system issues, and collaborates with the central ERP team to implement updates, enhancements, and process improvements
- Provide on-site user support, troubleshooting system errors, and resolving operational issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Finance, Supply Chain, Program, Process & Product) to understand business processes and align ERP functionalities.
- Perform data validation, data corrections, and minor configurations where necessary.
- Monitor ERP system performance and escalate critical issues to the central IT/ERP team.
- Perform new development / enactment sit UAT scenarios and ensure key user training for site operations.
- Document and maintain site-specific ERP processes and knowledge base.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement using ERP functionalities and automation.
The experience we're looking to add to our team
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in ERP support (site-level experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of core business processes like procurement, inventory, production, and finance.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Baan V , Oracle, Infor, etc.).
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to support non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of ERP reporting tools and data extraction (SQL, Power BI, etc.).
- Understanding of system integration between ERP and other applications.
- Basic understanding of ITIL processes (incident management, change management).
- On-site support with occasional remote collaboration.
- May require occasional off-hours support during critical system events or updates.
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments is a plus.
