About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ERP Developer with strong expertise in ERPNext to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in ERP development, customization, and implementation across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and HR modules. The role involves working closely with business teams to analyse requirements, develop technical solutions, integrate third-party systems, and ensure smooth ERP operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize ERPNext modules (Finance, HR, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, Sales).
- Build custom scripts, reports, workflows, and print formats as per business needs.
- Integrate ERP with third-party applications, APIs, and payment gateways.
- Manage data migration from legacy systems to ERPNext.
- Collaborate with functional consultants for requirement gathering, gap analysis, and solution design.
- Conduct functional and technical testing (UAT) before deployment.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
- Optimize ERP performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system scalability.
- Maintain version control using Git/GitHub and support DevOps for ERP deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5 years of ERP development experience (ERPNext).
- Strong knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Frappe Framework, SQL, HTML, CSS.
- Experience with MariaDB/MySQL/PostgreSQL database management.
- Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON, XML integration.
- Hands-on experience in Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing ERP modules.
- Good understanding of business processes and compliance (GST, taxation, payroll).
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, Linux server management.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have
- ERPNext Developer Certification.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
- Exposure to cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
