Job Description

About California Design Den

California Design Den (CDD) is a US-based premium home & lifestyle brand — sheet sets, organic and Egyptian cotton lines, bath towels, and more — sold across Amazon (US & UK), Walmart, Macy's, Target, and our own DTC site. One of the fastest-growing home textile brands in the US, we reach millions of customers, and our growth is powered by sharp merchandising, disciplined planning, and data-led decisioning. We move fast, we care about craft, and we give our people real ownership.

About the role

You will be the hands-on business analyst on our Odoo ERP and warehouse management implementation, across our US selling entity and our India factory — and the internal owner of the system once it goes live.

What you'll do

- Document current processes across the business and the factory, and define the target Odoo process design.

- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications the implementation partner can build against — and translate their answers back to the business.

- Own master data and migration: product, bill of materials, fabric, vendor and inventory data, including cleansing, migration and validation against source.

- Own test plans, user acceptance testing, go-live readiness and post-cutover support.

- Deliver the warehouse management workstream — receiving, putaway, picking, location discipline and cycle counts.

- Build the standard operating procedures and training that get office and factory teams working in the system rather than around it.

- Specify and validate the integration between Odoo and our BigQuery reporting platform.

What we're looking for

- 6+ years with hands-on ERP implementation experience, gained client-side as the company's own analyst rather than delivering for an agency or consultancy. This distinction matters for this role.

- ERP implementation in a manufacturing environment — production planning, bill of materials and inventory modules.

- Personal ownership of a master data migration into a new ERP, including validation and reconciliation.

- Strong business analysis: requirements gathering, process mapping, functional and technical specifications.

- Change management — writing procedures, training users, and driving adoption on a factory floor.

- Comfortable reading and validating SQL and data flows; writing it is not required.

- Odoo experience is preferred; migration experience from NetSuite, SAP or similar is highly relevant.

Why join us

- A greenfield implementation across two entities, with real influence over how the business will run.

- Direct access to decision-makers, and a defined path to grow into the internal Odoo champion and systems ownership once the platform is stable.

- A company that will fund the tools and expects you to use them well.

To apply

Apply through LinkedIn. There are a few short screening questions — please answer them, including your expected fixed CTC and your notice period. Shortlisted candidates go through a short first call, a working exercise on real data, and a final conversation with the hiring manager.
