Who we are looking for

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate‑level professional for our Equity Swaps Corporate Actions team, responsible for overseeing and executing day‑to‑day BAU processing for Equity Swaps in line with the operating model, internal SLAs, and control frameworks.

The role sits within State Street Markets Operations Financing Solutions business, supporting the Prime Services Equity Swaps product. The Officer will act as a key point of escalation and subject matter expert, partnering closely with Trading, Swap Operations, Stock Loan, Custody, and Risk teams to manage mandatory and voluntary events, restrictions, and lifecycle processing in a controlled, audit‑ready environment. Corporate actions on equity swaps represent a high‑risk, high‑complexity operational area where errors can directly impact P&L, client outcomes, and regulatory posture. As an Officer, this role plays a critical part in safeguarding economic neutrality, ensuring accurate processing outcomes, and reinforcing a strong control and escalation framework across synthetic and hedge books.

What you will be responsible for

As Equity Swaps Corporate Actions (Prime Services)-Senior Associate you will

  • Execute day‑to‑day processing of mandatory and voluntary corporate actions and dividend events impacting Equity Swaps portfolios.

  • Support event lifecycle activities including event capture, entitlement calculation, election processing, and settlement of cash and stock outcomes.

  • Assist in managing voluntary corporate action elections, including tracking instructions, validating inputs, and monitoring outcomes.

  • Ensure accurate booking of corporate action adjustments across swap and custody accounts.

  • Investigate and resolve breaks related to positions, entitlements, or cash flows, escalating unresolved items in line with procedures.

  • Execute assigned daily, event‑based, and monthly controls in accordance with documented procedures.

  • Liaise with internal teams including Swap Operations, Trading, Stock Loan, and Custody to support event processing and issue resolution.

  • Support responses to internal and external queries related to swap‑linked corporate actions and income events.

What you will bring to the role

  • Front-to-back knowledge of the Equity Swap Operations processes, markets and instruments.

  • Hands-on experience and working knowledge in Front office exception management, Middle office systems, Settlement / Payment department & understanding Swap lifecycle

  • Familiarity with systems such as NUVO, TRAIANA, DUCO, etc. will be an added advantage.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of corporate action event types, key dates, and processing flows.

  • Prior experience supporting Prime Brokerage, Prime Services, or Equity Derivatives operations.

  • Exposure to both synthetic and physical equity processing models.

  • Familiarity with swap processing tools, custody platforms, or corporate action event capture systems.

  • Good communication skills both written and oral.

  • 3-6+ years of experience in Corporate Actions, Asset Servicing, or Investment Operations, preferably supporting Equity Swaps, Delta One products, or Prime Services.

Additional requirements

  • Knowledge of Macros, SQL & MS Access Database queries will be an added advantage.

  • Shift Timings: 7pm to 4 am IST (NA Shift)

  • Persona: 4 days work from office

  • Location: Mumbai
