Who we are looking for

We are seeking an experienced Officer‑level professional for our Equity Swaps Corporate Actions team, responsible for overseeing and executing day‑to‑day BAU processing for Equity Swaps in line with the operating model, internal SLAs, and control frameworks.

The role sits within State Street Markets Operations Financing Solutions business, supporting the Prime Services Equity Swaps product. The Officer will act as a key point of escalation and subject matter expert, partnering closely with Trading, Swap Operations, Stock Loan, Custody, and Risk teams to manage mandatory and voluntary events, restrictions, and lifecycle processing in a controlled, audit‑ready environment. Corporate actions on equity swaps represent a high‑risk, high‑complexity operational area where errors can directly impact P&L, client outcomes, and regulatory posture. As an Officer, this role plays a critical part in safeguarding economic neutrality, ensuring accurate processing outcomes, and reinforcing a strong control and escalation framework across synthetic and hedge books.

What you will be responsible for

As Equity Swaps Corporate Actions (Prime Services)-Manager, you will:

  • Oversee and perform processing of mandatory and voluntary corporate actions and dividend events impacting Equity Swaps portfolios.

  • Manage and review event lifecycle activities including event capture, entitlement calculation, election processing, and settlement of cash and stock outcomes.

  • Act as an escalation point for complex or time‑sensitive voluntary corporate action elections, providing guidance and decision support as required.

  • Ensure accurate booking and alignment of corporate action adjustments across swap and custody accounts.

  • Review, investigate, and resolve breaks related to positions, entitlements, or cash flows, determining root cause and appropriate remediation.

  • Oversee execution of daily, event‑based, and periodic controls, ensuring adherence to documented procedures and control standards.

  • Escalate material issues, control gaps, or processing risks in line with governance and escalation frameworks.

  • Provide support and guidance to Senior Associates on complex processing, investigations, and control execution.

  • Liaise with internal teams including Swap Operations, Trading, Stock Loan, and Custody to resolve issues and manage event impacts.

  • Support responses to internal and external queries related to swap‑linked corporate actions and income events.

What you will bring to the role

  • Strong front‑to‑back understanding of Equity Swap Operations processes, lifecycle events, and interactions between synthetic and physical positions.

  • Hands‑on experience supporting front‑office exception management, middle‑office systems, and downstream settlement / payment processes.

  • Familiarity with systems such as NUVO, TRAIANA, DUCO, or similar platforms is an added advantage.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong front‑to‑back understanding of Equity Swap Operations processes, lifecycle events, and interactions between synthetic and physical positions.

  • 8-10+ years of experience in Corporate Actions, Asset Servicing, or Investment

  • Hands‑on experience supporting front‑office exception management, middle‑office systems, and downstream settlement / payment processes.

  • Experience providing oversight, coaching, or review support to junior team members.

  • Familiarity with systems such as NUVO, TRAIANA, DUCO, or similar platforms is an added advantage.

  • Shift Timings: 7:00pm to 4 :00am IST (NA Shift )

  • Persona: 4 days work from office

  • Location: Mumbai
