Role OverviewWe are looking for a motivated Equity Research Intern to support our investment team in analyzing listed companies, tracking portfolio performance, and identifying new investment opportunities. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world investing and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct fundamental research on listed companies across sectors
- Build and update financial models (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Track portfolio companies and prepare periodic updates
- Assist in preparing investment notes and internal memos
- Attend earnings calls and summarize key insights
- Compile industry research and monitor sector trends
- Support day-to-day investment and administrative activities
Who We're Looking For- Strong interest in equity markets and investing
- Background in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic understanding of financial statements and valuation concepts
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Self-driven, curious, and willing to learn
Preferred Certifications / Coursework(Not mandatory but a plus)- Progress toward or completion of CFA Program (Level I candidate or above)
- Relevant certifications such as:
- NISM Research Analyst Certification (Series XV)
- Financial Modeling & Valuation courses (e.g., Wall Street Prep, CFI)
- Coursework in Corporate Finance, Accounting, or Investments
