Job Description :-

In investment banking, Equity Product Trade Confirmations The relevant positions usually belong to the middle office or back office Operations. The primary goal of this type of position is to ensure that the transaction details of the buyer and seller are completely consistent after execution and before settlement, thereby reducing operational risks.

Shift : 7:30 AM to 4:15 PM IST.

Core Responsibilities

• Transaction Reconciliation and Verification: Verify that the transaction data recorded in the internal system is consistent with the confirmation letter issued by the counterparty, including price, quantity, stock code (ISIN/CUSIP) and settlement date.
• Exception Management: When the details of the two parties do not match (i.e., Break), it is necessary to investigate the cause in time and contact the front desk trader, broker or customer for correction.
• Lifecycle Management: For Equity Derivatives, events such as dividend payments, exercises, barrier monitoring, and resets need to be monitored.
• Platform Operations: Use electronic matching platforms such as DTCC's CTM, Omgeo, MarkitSERV, or SWIFT to implement automated confirmation (STP).
• Compliance and Regulation: Ensure that all confirmation processes comply with regulatory requirements such as EMIR or Dodd-Frank, especially in the context of accelerated settlement cycles like T+1.

• Education: Finance, accounting, economics, Commerce.

• Technical Capabilities: Mastery Excel (with VBA), about market terminals like Bloomberg. Reuters etc.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiar with the trading life cycle of equity products (spot stocks, options, swaps, structured products).
• Soft power: Possess the ability to handle large amounts of data under pressure and skills to communicate with different departments (legal, compliance, trading room).
