INSIGHT ALPHA
Broader Financial Research Content Platform
Job Description
Transcript Library Analyst — Equity Research
About Insight Alpha
Insight Alpha is a broader financial research content platform that empowers institutional investors, portfolio managers, and analysts with curated, high-quality research intelligence. Our transcript library is a core product — housing earnings calls, analyst days, investor conferences, and management commentary that drive investment decisions globally.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Transcript Library Analyst with a strong equity research background to join our content team. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of financial domain expertise, content operations, and product intelligence. You will be responsible for tagging, organizing, quality-controlling, and summarizing financial transcripts — and will serve as a critical bridge between our content library and the analysts who depend on it.
This is not a passive content role. We expect you to bring your equity research instincts to every transcript you touch — making our library smarter, faster, and more useful for financial professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Tag and organize financial transcripts by sector, event type, and key themes.
- Review transcripts for accuracy and create concise analyst-grade summaries.
- Identify key insights, guidance changes, and market-relevant commentary.
- Support analysts with transcript research and thematic content curation.
- Collaborate with product and tech teams to improve search, tagging, and content taxonomy.
- Benchmark competitor platforms and contribute to AI/NLP-based tagging improvements.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 2–6 years of experience in equity research, financial analysis, or investment research.
- Strong familiarity with earnings call structure, financial statement analysis, and management commentary interpretation.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize large volumes of financial content into precise, actionable summaries.
- Excellent written English with the ability to produce clean, professional-grade financial summaries.
- High attention to detail and comfort working with structured data and content taxonomies.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- CFA Level I or above (or equivalent financial certification).
- Experience with financial research platforms such as Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, Alpha Sense, or Refinitiv.
- Exposure to NLP, text analytics, or AI-assisted research tools.
- Sector depth in at least one coverage area (Technology, BFSI, Consumer, Industrials, Healthcare, etc.).
- Prior experience in financial content, fintech, or data products is a plus.
What Makes You Stand Out
You will thrive in this role if you have spent years listening to earnings calls and instinctively know what matters to an analyst. You understand not just what a CFO said — but why it matters, how it compares to prior guidance, and what a portfolio manager will want to highlight. You bring the discipline of a researcher with the operational mindset of someone who takes pride in building things that scale.
What Insight Alpha Offers
- A front-row seat at the intersection of financial research and data intelligence.
- Opportunity to shape the taxonomy and product direction of a growing transcript library platform.
- Collaborative team culture with deep financial domain expertise across the organization.
- Competitive compensation and performance-linked incentives.
- Hybrid working model with flexibility for seasoned professionals.
- Clear path for growth into senior research, product, or editorial leadership roles.
