Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an EPM Cloud Engineer to join a global consulting firm. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with EPM Cloud, EPBCS, and Hyperion Planning.

This role is predominantly technical with a smaller functional component involving user interaction. The consultant will support finance teams during planning cycles, as well as assist with system security, data collection, and form management.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain Oracle EPM Cloud Planning applications, and EPBCS
  • Translate business planning requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Develop and manage business rules, calculation scripts, dashboards, and data forms
  • Build and optimize SQL queries, views, and transformations to support planning processes
  • Build, maintain, and manage SQL queries to support planning month end processes.
  • Integrate and reconcile data across Oracle EPM Cloud, Snowflake, and upstream systems
  • Integrate data between EPM Cloud and source systems using SQL and Snowflake.
  • Perform advanced reporting and data analysis using Smart View
  • Partner with Finance, Data Engineering, and IT teams to improve planning operations and data quality
  • Contribute to automation, continuous improvement, and scalable platform enhancements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Data Engineering, and IT.

Must haves:

  • Oracle EPM Cloud or Hyperion Planning experience
  • Strong expertise in PBCS and EPBCS application development
  • Experience supporting financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and maintain high data accuracy
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills

Plusses:

  • SQL Snowflake experience
  • SmartView experience
