The mission of Bagchi School of Public Health is to improve public health and the environment locally, nationally, and globally through research, training, and developing, disseminating, and implementing sustainable evidence-based interventions, programmes, and policies.

We are seeking applications or nominations for an Epidemiologist with strong methods expertise and research interests in major chronic disease including mental health, behavioral or environmental determinants of health.

Note: A medical or paramedical background, is an additional plus; however, an MBBS, MD or other clinical degrees are not a substitute for a PhD or equivalent degree.

Qualifications: PhD or equivalent doctoral degree, e.g., DrPH, ScD in Epidemiology or a closely related quantitative discipline. Strong publication track record. Senior applicants would require a funding track record.
