Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced EOS Technical Expert with strong expertise in SAP BASIS, system lifecycle management, and cloud/managed services environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling EOS/EOL systems, ensuring performance, stability, and seamless transitions across SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support EOS/EOL systems across SAP environments
- Handle system lifecycle events including upgrades, updates, migrations, and decommissioning
- Perform system performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization
- Manage backup & recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies
- Execute system copies, export-import activities, and landscape transformations
- Work on incident, problem, and escalation management ensuring timely resolution
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for cloud operations and managed services delivery
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards
- Maintain strong client communication and relationship management
Required Skills & Competencies
- Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:
- SAP BASIS
- System Performance Management
- Lifecycle Events (Upgrades / Updates)
- SAP Project Management / Support
- Escalation Management
- Strong working knowledge of SAP technologies:
- SAP NetWeaver
- SAP HANA
- SAP BusinessObjects
- SAP Sybase ASE
- Experience with:
- SAP Cloud Connector
- S/4HANA (preferred)
- Managed/Hosting Services or SAP Cloud (Private/Public)
- Expertise in:
- Application Security
- Backup & Recovery
- Performance Tuning
- High Availability & Disaster Recovery
- Strong understanding of:
- Problem Management frameworks
- Root Cause Analysis methodologies
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT (or higher)
- SAP BASIS / BusinessObjects certification preferred
- ITIL certification is an advantage
- Cloud certifications or experience in AWS / Azure / GCP preferred
