Position Overview
We are looking for a hands-on
EnvironmentalSensor Specialist to support integration, calibration, validation, and production readiness of environmental sensors used across Aurassure's climate-tech and environmental monitoring products.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end integration and validation of environmental sensors including:
- Air Quality Sensors
- Weather Monitoring Sensors
- Flood & Water Level Sensors
- Gas & Particulate Monitoring Systems
- Perform sensor testing for accuracy, stability, response time, drift, and environmental tolerance
- Execute calibration, lab testing, and field validation procedures
- Debug hardware and communication issues using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and analyzers
- Support deployment and real-world validation of cloud-connected IoT sensor platforms
- Define QC standards, test plans, acceptance criteria, and release approvals
- Maintain technical documentation, calibration records, and validation reports
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, cloud, product, and field teams
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in:
- Environmental Sensor Integration
- Embedded Systems
- IoT Hardware Validation
- Sensor Calibration & Testing
- Strong understanding of sensor communication protocols:
- I2C
- SPI
- UART
- RS-485
- Ethernet
- Experience with environmental monitoring systems, flood monitoring systems, industrial IoT devices, or smart sensing platforms
- Strong debugging, analytical, and documentation skills
Preferred Expereince
- Exposure to air quality, weather, flood monitoring, industrial, or climate monitoring systems
- Experience in field deployments and outdoor sensor validation
- Familiarity with cloud-connected IoT platforms and real-time sensor data systems
- Experience with environmental or industrial IoT systems
- Exposure to field deployments and cloud-connected sensor platforms
