Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Environmental Health Safety Specialist role based in Bengaluru. The Specialist will oversee workplace safety and environmental compliance, conducting risk assessments, inspections, and audits to ensure adherence to regulations. The role also involves developing and implementing safety policies and programs, training employees on safety protocols, monitoring workplace environments, and managing incident investigations. The Environmental Health Safety Specialist plays a vital role in fostering a safe workplace culture and addressing environmental concerns.

Qualifications

• Expertise in conducting risk assessments, health and safety inspections, and implementing safety policies.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations, compliance standards, and sustainability initiatives.
• Experience in incident investigation, documentation, and implementing corrective actions.
• Strong training and communication skills to effectively educate employees on safety protocols.
• Knowledge in regulatory reporting, record-keeping, and safety performance monitoring.
• Attention to detail, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or related field.
• Prior experience in a similar role; certifications in OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent are an advantage.
