Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Role Description

This is a remote, part-time role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist. The role involves developing, implementing, and managing health and safety programs in compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include assessing workplace environments, ensuring employee health and safety, delivering safety training, and maintaining up-to-date EHS policies. The specialist will also monitor and address environmental risks and incidents to ensure an optimal and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Occupational Health principles and practices
• Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) programs and regulations
• Expertise in Workplace Safety and risk reduction strategies
• Ability to design and deliver effective Safety Training sessions
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely
• Familiarity with compliance requirements and industry safety standards
• Relevant certification or degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field is preferred
