Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive environmental sustainability strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate sustainability into the company's overall vision and operations.
- Identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact through energy savings, waste reduction, and resource efficiency.
- Ensure the company adheres to all environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage audits, assessments, and certifications related to environmental compliance (e.g., ISO 14001).
- Monitor changes in environmental legislation and adjust corporate practices accordingly.
- Lead or oversee sustainability projects, including waste management, water conservation, and energy efficiency programs.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet sustainability goals.
- Monitor environmental performance metrics and maintain accurate records of energy use, waste generation, water consumption, and emissions.
- Provide regular reports to management on the status of environmental programs and goals.
- Use data to identify trends and recommend adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Foster relationships with external environmental organizations, government agencies, and community groups.
- Represent the company at sustainability events, conferences, and partnerships..
Additional Skills:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
- Strong knowledge on operation & trouble shooting of ZLD facilities, environmental laws, standards, and best practices.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
This position may require travel to company facilities or other sites for inspections or project assessments
