Job Description

Job Title: HSE Lead Manufacturing Account

Location: Bangalore

Organization: ISS Facilities

Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial Facilities

Budget: Up to 11 LPA

Role Purpose

The HSE Lead will be responsible for driving Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance across the manufacturing facility, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements, ISS HSE standards, and client expectations while fostering a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs at the manufacturing site
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and client HSE requirements
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations
  • Lead safety trainings, inductions, toolbox talks, and mock drills
  • Monitor contractor safety compliance and permit-to-work systems
  • Drive EHS KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage accident / near-miss reporting and root cause analysis
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, client teams, and statutory authorities
  • Support ISO, OHSAS / ISO 45001, and internal audits

Candidate Profile

  • Graduate / Diploma in Engineering with NEBOSH / IOSH / ADIS / Diploma in Industrial Safety
  • 610 years of HSE experience in manufacturing / industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of Indian safety laws, statutory compliance, and audit requirements
  • Experience managing contractor safety and high-risk activities
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
