About bepay

bepay is building next-generation payment infrastructure that unifies fiat and stablecoin rails into a single, global settlement layer. Our platform enables users, merchants, and institutions to move money seamlessly across UPI, cards, IBAN accounts, stablecoins, and multi-chain wallets, blending traditional finance with blockchain-native payments.

We are at a critical growth phase and are looking for a leader who can think like a founder and execute like an operator.

About the Role

We are hiring an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) to work directly with the founder on growth, sales, marketing, partnerships, go-to-market strategy, and execution. This is a high-ownership, multifunctional role. You will be expected to identify opportunities, build strategies, and personally drive execution across customer acquisition, revenue, partnerships, and market expansion. The ideal candidate is commercially strong, understands fintech and payments, and is comfortable operating with ambiguity. Technical or product exposure is a strong plus, but not mandatory.

What You'll Own

  • Define and execute growth and go-to-market strategy across user, merchant, and institutional segments
  • Lead sales and business development, including enterprise deals, partnerships, and strategic alliances
  • Identify new revenue streams, markets, and use cases in fintech and payments
  • Work closely with founders to shape product direction, positioning, and market fit
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives spanning marketing, sales, product, and operations
  • Build and manage high-value relationships with clients, partners, and ecosystem players
  • Support fundraising, investor discussions, and strategic planning when required
  • Act as a trusted execution partner to founders on high-impact initiatives

Who You Are

  • 5–7years of experience in fintech, payments, SaaS, or financial services
  • Proven track record in sales, marketing, growth, business development, or GTM leadership
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution ability
  • Comfortable working across functions in a high-accountability environment
  • Founder-mindset: you take ownership, move fast, and solve problems end-to-end
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Available to join immediately 

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience at an early-stage startup or as a founder / early employee
  • Exposure to cross-border payments, wallets, banking, or financial infrastructure
  • Technical or product background (engineering, product, or architecture exposure)
