Job Description: Enterprise Technology Governance Specialist

Position Summary:
The Enterprise Technology Governance Specialist is a key member of the Enterprise Technology Architecture team, responsible for managing and optimizing governance workflows, coordinating requests, and fostering effective stakeholder relationships. This role supports analytics and reporting, escalates issues, tracks closure of requests, and ensures the smooth execution of governance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ETG Workflows:
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Enterprise Technology Governance requests, ensuring all processes are executed efficiently and in alignment with established standards.
- Coordinate ETG Requests:
- Serve as the primary contact for governance requests, facilitating approvals, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely escalation and closure of outstanding items.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders, promoting transparency and collaboration throughout the governance process.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track process performance, request status, and key metrics. Provide actionable insights to leadership and governance boards.
- Issue Escalation & Closure Tracking:
- Proactively identify bottlenecks and issues within governance workflows, escalate as needed, and track resolution through to closure.
- Project Management Support:
- Support all project management activities related to governance requests and initiatives, including monitoring progress, following up on open tasks, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Conduct Technology Governance Meetings:
- Organize, schedule, and facilitate regular Technology Governance meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes, and ensure follow-up on action items.
- Planner Board Management:
- Track and manage planner boards for activities within the Enterprise Technology Architecture domain, similar to a scrum master, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed efficiently.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, transparency, and stakeholder satisfaction within the governance framework.
- Enterprise Architecture Understanding:
- Maintain a strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles and practices to ensure governance activities are aligned with organizational strategy.
Qualifications
- More than 8 years of experience in technology governance, IT project management, or enterprise architecture.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with analytics, reporting tools, workflow management systems, and planner boards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive process improvements.
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices.
