Role Overview

The Lead I Enterprise Solutions role involves analyzing, designing, developing, and deploying solutions on ERP/CRM platforms. The individual will work under the guidance of a Senior Lead while independently handling modules, mentoring junior team members, managing client environments, and contributing to process improvements, automation, and agile delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Delivery

  • Analyze requirements and user stories to design and develop ERP/CRM solutions
  • Independently design, develop, configure, and test functionalities
  • Select appropriate technical approaches including reuse, enhancement, or reconfiguration of existing components
  • Adhere to coding standards and ERP/CRM best practices
  • Ensure unit test coverage above 95%

Design, Documentation & Reviews

  • Prepare Functional Design Specifications, deployment documents, and technical documentation
  • Conduct design reviews, peer code reviews, and recommend improvements
  • Create and review deliverable documents including design documents, test cases, and results

Production & Support

  • Act as a single point of contact for build, deployment, and post-production issues
  • Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Handle code/configuration changes in production environments
  • Independently manage client environments and installation activities

Agile & Project Management

  • Estimate effort, timelines, dependencies, and resources for modules and user stories
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning
  • Manage module delivery, track progress, and report status as per project standards

Client Interaction

  • Interact effectively with stakeholders to clarify requirements and present design options
  • Provide guidance to development teams and explain functionality to business users
  • Drive customer calls and implementation reviews with stakeholders

Team Leadership & Mentoring

  • Mentor junior developers and support day-to-day technical activities
  • Assist in onboarding new team members and provide timely feedback
  • Participate in technical screening and recruitment activities

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify automation and process improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to ERP/CRM practice initiatives such as reusable assets, case studies, internal knowledge sessions, and hackathons
  • Continuously learn and implement new ERP/CRM features where applicable

Measures of Success

  • Timely delivery of sprint commitments
  • Quick resolution of production defects
  • Adherence to coding standards and processes
  • Completion of mandatory and role-relevant certifications and trainings
  • Number of implemented mid-size requirements and resolved issues
  • Positive client feedback and adoption of innovative ideas

Domain & Functional Scope (ERP/CRM Model N & SAP S/4 HANA Focus)

Master Data

  • Customer master data assessment and alignment during ERP migration
  • Customer hierarchy analysis (Ship-To, Sold-To, merges, splits, inactive customers)

Contracts & Transactions

  • Contract creation, amendment, and identifier alignment
  • Transactional sales data assessment (direct/indirect sales)
  • End-to-end lifecycle management of settlements and payments

Payments & Chargebacks

  • Handling rebates, chargebacks, admin fees, incentive rebates, and managed care payments
  • Impact analysis due to customer ID or system migration changes

Reporting & Downstream Systems

  • Reporting impact analysis due to data and structural changes
  • Alignment of downstream finance, reconciliation, and reporting systems

Proof of Concepts (POCs)

  • POCs on impacted modules including customer master, hierarchy, contracts, payments, and configurations

Required Skills & Experience (Must-Have)

  • ERP/CRM systems: 3+ years
  • Model N: 2+ years
  • SOAP & REST API integrations: 2+ years
  • SAP S/4 HANA exposure: 1+ year
  • Agile/Scrum methodology: 2+ years
  • Data mapping, ETL/migration tasks, and integration technologies

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Exposure to Cognos or similar reporting tools
