Job Description

We are hiring one architect to own both the solution and the technical design of our

engagements. You sit with clients to shape the target architecture, then stay hands on to build

the hard parts yourself. This is a player coach role. You translate business goals into a

Salesforce design, break that design into work a development team can execute, and make the

technical calls that keep the build clean.

What You Will Do

Customer engagement

- Act as the technical point of contact for client stakeholders

- Run workshops, present options and tradeoffs, and keep customers close from kickoff

through go live. Sustained customer interaction is central to this role, not a handoff after

discovery.

Solution architecture

- Lead discovery with client stakeholders and turn business requirements into a target

Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and the

core Platform.

- Design the data model. Decide where standard objects fit and where a custom object

earns its place.

- Own the architecture for engagements that span several clouds and connect to systems

of record like SAP.

Technical architecture

- Design Lightning Web Components, Apex services, page layouts, and automation.

Weigh declarative against programmatic on every decision.

- Design integrations end to end. Choose the mechanism, define the contract, and make

sure it holds under real data volumes.

- Set the standards the development team builds against, and review their work against

those standards.

Delivery

- Break large, ambiguous programs into solution designs, then into tickets a developer can

pick up and ship.

- Write the specifications, sequence the work, and unblock the team through the build.

- Stay accountable from discovery to go live.

AI-native delivery

- Use the current generation of AI tools to accelerate design, specification, code, and

review.

- Help set how the firm uses these tools, so every engagement gets faster without getting

sloppier.

Must Have

- Deep knowledge of the core Salesforce clouds: Sales, Service, Platform, and

Experience.

- Strong platform depth: Lightning Web Components, Apex, standard and custom objects,

flows, and the security model.

- Sound judgment on tradeoffs. You can say when to use a standard object over a custom

one, and a standard component over a custom one, and defend the call.

- Strong integration design. You have connected Salesforce to enterprise systems,

especially SAP S/4HANA, SAP CX, and Microsoft Outlook, and you can reason about

the right mechanism (API, middleware, event) for each case.

- A track record of breaking large programs into executable work a development team can

run with.

- The ability to work as a technical architect, not just a diagram author. You still design

components, write reference code, and own hard technical decisions.

- Strong written and verbal communication. You can hold a room of client executives and

a room of developers on the same day.

- Fluency with AI tools and a real appetite to push what they can do in delivery.

Nice to Have

- Experience with additional clouds: Revenue Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, Industry Cloud

Platform Automations, Agentforce, and Data Cloud.

- Experience designing in a manufacturing setting, especially with Manufacturing Cloud.

This is a strong plus given our client base.

- Experience integrating through MuleSoft or SAP Cloud Platform Integration.

- Experience at a systems integrator or consultancy delivering across multiple client

engagements.

Certifications

Certifications are a signal, not a substitute for the work. We weight the following:

- Salesforce Application Architect and System Architect (required).

- Certified Technical Architect (strong preferred).

- Domain designer credentials: Integration Architecture, Data Architecture and

Management, Sharing and Visibility, Development Lifecycle and Deployment.

- Platform Developer I and II.

- AI Specialist and Agentforce Specialist, which enterprise clients increasingly ask for by

name.
