Role Purpose:
The Manager – Business Development (Gift Cards) is responsible for driving the strategic growth and development of the gift card business. This individual will oversee market expansion initiatives, develop and manage relationships with existing key partners, and ensure the profitability and sustainability of the gift card portfolio. The role requires
expertise in business development, partnership management, and market analysis.
The Responsibilities We Entrust You With:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business growth strategies for existing resellers and partners.
- Market Development: Identify new market opportunities, trends, and potential business partners to expand the gift card footprint.
- Partnership Management: Establish, cultivate, and manage relationships with existing channel partners as well as potential partners.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze performance data to ensure sales targets and profitability goals are met.
- Market tracking: Understand how competition, brands and channel partners are operating and tailormade our approach to acquire, retain and grow them.
- Financial management: Prepare forecasts and financial analyses for the gift card portfolio. Ensure timely reconciliation and billing for the portfolio.
What Matters in This Role:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5 -10 years of experience in business development, sales, or related areas, with expertise in the gift card industry, E-commerce or payment solutions.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop and manage strategic partnerships.
- Data-driven decision-making with excellent analytical skills.
- Familiarity with market trends in the gift card or payment solutions industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, presentations, and reporting
