Role: Sales Manager CPG vertical (India)

Location: Mumbai

Reports to: GM Sales & BD (India)

Overview

The Sales Head CPG (India) will drive revenue growth and customer acquisition within the Consumer-Packaged Goods segment for ManageArtworks SaaS solutions. This role focuses on selling to brand owners, packaging, regulatory, supply chain, and marketing stakeholders, combining hands-on sales execution with vertical ownership.

Key Deliverables

Revenue & Vertical Growth

  • Own revenue targets for the CPG vertical in India
  • Drive new customer acquisition, upsell, and renewals
  • Execute vertical-specific sales strategies and GTM plans

Enterprise Sales Execution

  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles for mid-market and enterprise CPG accounts
  • Deliver customer demos and solutioning directly, from requirement understanding to proposed solution.
  • Personally handle strategic and complex deals
  • Build strong relationships with Brand, Packaging, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Operations leaders

Team Player and Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Support team members on deal strategy, negotiations, and closures
  • Maintain strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline
  • Work closely with KAM teams to ensure smooth customer handover and account expansion
  • Provide market feedback to Product and Marketing teams

Market Intelligence & Process

  • Track CPG market trends, compliance requirements, and competition
  • Ensure CRM hygiene and accurate reporting
  • Follow company policies and ethical sales practices

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 6+ years of experience in B2B / Enterprise Sales
  • Strong B2B SaaS / Enterprise Software Sales experience
  • Exposure to CPG / FMCG industry sales cycles
  • Proven ability to manage consultative, multi-stakeholder sales
  • Experience leading or mentoring sales team members
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Experience & Qualifications

  • Prior experience selling SaaS or technology solutions to CPG / FMCG companies
  • Experience handling mid to large enterprise accounts
  • Mumbai market familiarity preferred
  • MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus
