Role Description
Key Responsibilities
1) Revenue & Pipeline Management
· Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
· Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline across infrastructure and security solutions.
· Develop account plans for strategic enterprise clients.
· Forecast revenue accurately and manage deal closures.
2) New Business Development (Hunting)
· Identify and acquire new enterprise and PSU customers.
· Engage CXOs, IT heads, and procurement teams.
· Drive end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
· Participate in RFP/RFQ responses and bid management.
3) Account Management (Farming)
· Manage and grow existing enterprise accounts.
· Increase wallet share through cross-selling and upselling.
· Build long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
4) Solution Selling
· Understand customer IT environments and business challenges.
· Position appropriate solutions across:
o Data centre infrastructure (servers, storage, networking).
o Virtualization and private cloud.
o Backup and disaster recovery.
o Cyber security solutions:
§ Network security
§ Endpoint protection
§ Cloud security
§ Identity and access management
§ Application security
· Work closely with pre-sales and OEM teams to design solutions.
5) Commercial & Contract Management
· Prepare techno-commercial proposals.
· Lead price negotiations and contract closures.
· Ensure timely order processing and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Experience
· 5–10 years of experience in enterprise IT sales.
· Proven track record in selling:
o IT infrastructure solutions, and/or
o Cyber security solutions.
· Experience handling enterprise, PSU, or large mid-market accounts.
· Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
· Understanding of solution-based sales and long sales cycles.
Educational Qualifications
· B. Tech / BE / Graduate in relevant discipline.
· MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred.
