About the Role:
We're seeking a Field Chief AI Security Officer to lead enterprise sales of our AI security platform. You'll be part founder, part strategist, part evangelist, part closer — a field leader who:
- *Sells to CISOs and security architects* at Fortune 500 and high-growth companies, translating AI security risk into commercial value
- *Owns the narrative* around agentic AI risks, prompt injection, model integrity, LLM governance, and privacy at scale
- *Builds the funnel* through a combination of direct outreach, industry event presence, channel partnerships, and community engagement
- *Closes deals* in the $150K–$1M+ ACV range and manages the full commercial lifecycle
- *Becomes the voice* of Kapalins in the AI security space — podcasts, conferences, LinkedIn, advisory boards, industry groups
This is *not* a marketing role, not a customer success role, and not an engineering role. It's enterprise sales for a mission-critical security product, with the credibility and domain depth to be trusted by enterprise buyers.
What You'll Do:
- Empanel Kapālins into the top 5 enterprises in each of 5 target sectors: Banking/FS, Health, Government, Energy, Retail (25 target accounts)
- Build and own executive relationships with CISOs, CTOs, and Board members across India's mid-market
- Position and sell Kapālins AI security assessments ($15K single-category, $60K–$120K full 5-category) and remediation solutions.
- Represent Kapālins at industry events, conferences, and roundtables — you are the brand
- Develop System Integrator partnerships for co-sell and talent augmentation
- Build a $1M+ qualified pipeline within 6 months through relationship-led selling.
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years in Enterprises sales and atleast 3+ years in cybersecurity consulting, advisory, with AI/ML exposure
- Existing CISO/CTO network in India — you can open doors on day one
- Proven sales track record: $500K+ annual revenue generation
- Comfortable presenting to boards and C-suite executives
- Understanding of AI/ML security risks (prompt injection, model poisoning, agentic AI)
- Startup mentality — you thrive without structure and build your own playbook
Nice to Have
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification
- Experience with OWASP LLM Top 10 or AI security frameworks
- Speaking experience at cybersecurity conferences
Compensation & Benefits
- Base: to be discussed while interview
- Commission: 8%–15% tiered on revenue generated (UNCAPPED)
- Tier based commision→Tier 1: 8% on first $300K | Tier 2: 10% on $300K–$700K | Tier 3: 12% on $700K–$1.2M | Tier 4: 15% above $1.2M
- Equity: 3% (24-month vest, 12-month cliff)
- Target OTE: to be discussed
- Remote India with 30–40% travel to client sites and events
