Sales & Business Development Manager – SaaS

About the Role
Manupatra is a leading LegalTech company offering a range of technology-driven solutions including Compliance Management Software, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Litigation Management, IPR Management, Legal Research Solutions, AI-powered legal products, and other enterprise SaaS platforms.
We are looking for a highly driven Sales & Business Development professional who can identify opportunities, create demand, build relationships, and drive revenue growth across our product portfolio. Depending on experience and leadership capabilities, the role may be considered at an Individual Contributor or Leadership level.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting to closure.
- Generate new business opportunities through market outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic prospecting.
- Identify untapped markets, new customer segments, and expansion opportunities.
- Conduct consultative sales discussions to understand client requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and solution walkthroughs to prospective customers.
- Manage both online and in-person client meetings, including travel when required.
- Coordinate with Product, Technology, Content, and Customer Success teams to address customer requirements and solution customization needs.
- Prepare proposals, commercial discussions, negotiations, and closure strategies.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve revenue targets.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and key decision-makers to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Continuously gather market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in complete sales lifecycle management, from prospecting and lead generation to client acquisition, account management, and deal closure.
- Strong consultative selling and solution-selling capabilities.
- Ability to engage with CXOs, business heads, legal teams, compliance professionals, and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated track record of independently generating business and achieving revenue targets.
- Experience handling complex sales involving multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
