  • Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) Consultant based at Amity University in Delhi, India with one of its IT department. The ERP Consultant will analyze academic and administrative business processes, identify optimization opportunities, and map them to ERP functionalities. Responsibilities include gathering requirements from stakeholders, configuring ERP modules, coordinating and supporting ERP implementations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as finance, HR, academics, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounting

  • Understand and map existing business processes related to General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation and Taxation (GST/TDS) etc
  • Configure and support finance workflows in TCS iON ERP.
  • Coordinate with finance stakeholders for requirement analysis and gap identification.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial process automation.

Purchase & Inventory 

  • Configure and support Purchase Requisition, RFQ / Quotation Management, Purchase Orders, Vendor Management, Approval Workflows, GRN and Invoice Matching
  • Ensure procurement workflows align with organizational policies and audit requirements.
  • Manage ERP processes for Inventory Masters, Stock Movement, Warehouse Management, Asset & Consumable Tracking, Stock Verification & Reconciliation, Issue/Return Management
  • Coordinate with stores and inventory teams for operational improvements.

ERP Functional Activities

  • Perform configuration, testing, and user acceptance support.
  • Provide end-user training and prepare user manuals/SOPs.
  • Coordinate with TCS Solutioning team for customization requirements.
  • Support ERP integrations and data migration activities.

    Educational Qualification

    • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
    • ERP certification in TCS iON will be an added advantage.

    Preferred Experience

    • Experience in educational institutions/university ERP implementations
    • Exposure to multi-campus or multi-location operations is desirable.
    • Experience in handling ERP implementation lifecycle from requirement gathering to go-live support.
