Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Data Architecture: Design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade data architectures using Azure and Snowflake platforms.
- Data Transformation & ETL: Oversee large-scale data transformation and ETL processes ensuring high data quality, integrity, and performance.
- Customer-Centric Data Design: Develop optimized data sets sourced from CRM, Call Center, Marketing, POS, and offline systems to support customer insights.
- Data Modeling: Create and maintain advanced data models (Relational, Dimensional, Columnar, Big Data) for analytical and operational purposes.
- Query Optimization: Write and optimize complex SQL/NoSQL queries for efficient data access and performance.
- Data Warehouse Management: Apply advanced warehousing concepts to design scalable, high-performing warehouse solutions.
- Tool Evaluation & Implementation: Assess, recommend, and implement ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Unifi) following industry best practices.
- Business Requirements & Analysis: Translate business needs into technical specifications through structured analysis, process design, and documentation.
- Reporting & Analytics Support: Guide reporting teams and support platforms such as Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and analytics.
- Software Development Practices: Implement clean coding principles and software development best practices for data delivery.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with sales and delivery teams to understand client challenges and lead data strategy discussions.
- Project Management & Multi-tasking: Manage and prioritize multiple ongoing data projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic Thinking & Leadership: Take ownership as a proactive and innovative leader, fostering continuous improvement in architecture practices.
Position Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience in large-scale data transformation and ETL
- Proven expertise in customer-centric data design (CRM, POS, Marketing, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in data modeling (Relational, Dimensional, Columnar, Big Data)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL or NoSQL
- In-depth understanding of data warehousing concepts and implementation
- Proven experience with enterprise ETL tools like Informatica and Unifi
- Skilled in gathering and translating business requirements into scalable data solutions
- Familiarity with reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Professional background in software development
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and lead engagements with clients and cross-functional teams
