OverviewThe IBP Demand & Integrated Planning Product Support will be a critical member of the global IBP product management team and local market team. They own the technical solution delivery of continuous improvement (global product backlog) for Demand & Integrated Planning tool including both functional and technical aspects. The incumbent will provide end user support during o9 platform upgrades and major project releases. This includes deploying global IBP improvements for the live markets. They will work cross functionally with IBP process, Data and IT teams to deliver improvements. The Product Manager will have to adapt to the dynamic needs of the business and ensure IBP is positioned to drive optimal business value. This includes balancing the development of a global product vs. local market needs.
Responsibilities- Continuously identify and address business and user requirements to improve processes, systems architecture, products, and capabilities.
- Own the product evolution prioritization process for IBP Demand Planning & Forums capabilities (backlog), work closely with business partners to assess and prioritize new demand for product enhancements (change requests). Ensure product enhancements requests are well articulated in business language clearly explaining the business problem to solve.
- Lead the solution design proposal for IBP Demand Planning & Forums capabilities in life markets as well owns the solution design of global changes in the new IBP deployments, covering both technical and functional aspects of the solution. During the design the incumbent protects One Product mindset ensuring the solution is global and enables one global product across all PepsiCo Markets.
- Partner with Continuous Improvement delivery team in defining Release delivery plan, do the integration testing for major & complex changes.
- Support Data and Analytics team to ensure all data objects (GDO's), including demand drivers, are defined, documented, and meet all business requirements
- Partner with the Data and Analytics team to refine and validate all data objects (GDOs), including demand drivers, ensuring they remain aligned with business needs.
- Develop and implement proposals and strategies for continuous improvement of the IBP Demand Planning & Forums process to achieve increased benefits, cost reductions, and optimize software investments.
- Own and manage the product evolution roadmap, prioritizing big rocks and strategic priorities for the markets in collaboration with Global IBP Planning/IBP CoE teams.
- Lead the Voice of the Customer (VoC) process with o9 supplier to influence the o9 product development. Suggest next cycle development priorities and lead their prioritization with IBP leadership before the next VoC forum.
- Manage and improve cross-workstream dependencies in partnership with Supply Planning teams.
- Ensure the ongoing delivery of high-quality products, driving a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Demonstrate a passion for ongoing enhancement and optimization in product design and delivery.
Qualifications- 9+ years of IBP and Demand Planning automation or support leveraging industrial standards such as Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, o9 (o9 is preferable). Strong functional knowledge and 3+ years of hands-on experience with at least one of these tools (o9 is preferable)
- 7+ years Product management with experience continuously refining strategic product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment preferred
- 4+ years CPG demand planning or similar with a proven track record of driving continuous improvement enhancements.
- Experience in leading and delivering through external partners
- Proven experience in refining and optimizing products throughout the lifecycle, including ongoing iterations and enhancements.
- Experience managing evolving technical and design direction, incorporating user feedback and performance data
- Bachelor's degree required degree in quantitative or engineering related field preferred
