Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on .Net and Azure Enterprise Architect with strong technical expertise in .net core , Azure and Databricks to join our team. This role is critical in driving cloud and data architecture for high-impact projects across multiple accounts, starting with the WBG account.
The ideal candidate will not only provide strategic architectural guidance but also be actively involved in design, development, and troubleshooting of solutions on Azure and Databricks platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on Microsoft Azure and .net core.
- Provide expert guidance on integrating Azure Databricks within cloud-based data and analytics platforms.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define architecture roadmaps and ensure alignment with enterprise strategy.
- Define data lakehouse architectures using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Azure Data Lake.
- Take a hands-on role in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines, data lakes, and analytics solutions.
- Lead technical discussions, proof-of-concepts, and solutioning sessions with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, DevOps, and business analysts.
- Provide oversight and technical governance during project delivery.
- Ensure architectural integrity, governance, and best practices across all solutions.
- Review and assess current Azure environments for optimization, security, and scalability.
- Provide thought leadership and mentor technical teams in Azure and Databricks implementations.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure solution viability and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 5 years in Azure and Net core.
- Strong expertise in Azure services: Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Proven experience with Azure Databricks, Spark-based workloads, and Delta Lake architecture.
- Solid understanding of data engineering and analytics pipelines.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools in Azure environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with enterprise security and governance best practices on cloud platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- Experience with other data platforms such as Snowflake, Power BI, or AWS/GCP (nice to have).
BFSI domain knowledge is a plus.
