Role Description
Highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect with a focus on Public Cloud and Data Center Technologies. The role is in shaping the technology strategy and architecture for our customer enterprise, ensuring the alignment of IT infrastructure and services with business goals. Should have deep understanding of cloud computing, data center operations, and a strong ability to design, implement, and manage complex IT environments. .
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Experience: Overall 15+ years of relevant IT experience in that 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a strong focus on public cloud services and data center technologies. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Architect, TOGAF, or similar are highly desirable. Technical Skills: o In-depth knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, M365). o Strong understanding of data center technologies, including virtualization, storage, networking, and security. o Experience with SaaS and PaaS tools, SIEM,IDS/IPS, RMM, ITSM, MDM, Open source and Microsoft Tools. o Experience with cloud migration strategies and hybrid cloud environments. o Familiarity with DevOps practices and Scripting tools. o Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman). o Understanding of network architecture, including SDN, WAN, LAN, and VPN technologies. Soft Skills: o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. o Strong communication and presentation abilities. o Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners. o Leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, focusing on the integration and optimization of public cloud services and on-premise data centers. Architecture Design: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud and data center architectures, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes. Technology Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert for public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud,M365 etc.) and data center technologies(Windows ,Linux, Hypervisors, Storages, Networks ,Firewalls etc.), advising senior management on best practices and emerging trends. Solution Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud-based solutions, Security solutions, Automation solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to architectural standards. Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce governance frameworks for cloud and data center operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, security policies, and corporate standards. Cost Management: Monitor and optimize the costs associated with cloud services and data center operations, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising performance or security. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with cloud service providers, data center vendors, and other third-party partners, ensuring that services are delivered according to contract terms and performance expectations. Documentation and Communication: Create and maintain detailed documentation of the architecture, including blueprints, standards, and guidelines. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders including customers. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging new technologies and methodologies to enhance the efficiency, security, and scalability of the IT infrastructure.
