We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Architect to lead the modernization ofenterprise applications into scalable, resilient, and cloud-ready platforms using the Microsofttechnology stack.This role focuses on end-to-end architecture ownership, modernization strategy, andgovernance, going beyond delivery to ensure long-term platform sustainability. The architect willwork closely with business stakeholders, product owners, internal engineering teams, andexternal vendors to define and drive the technical vision.The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on .NET expertise, strong understanding of modernarchitectural patterns, and proven experience in modernizing legacy systems intocontemporary architectures, while acting as a technical authority across programs.Key Responsibilities:. Architecture & Modernization Leadership. Own the end-to-end modernization strategy for legacy enterprise applications. . Define target architecture, reference patterns, and modernization roadmaps for .NET-based systems. . Lead transformation from monolithic architectures to modular, service-oriented, and cloud-ready designs. . Evaluate technical debt and drive structured refactoring and re-architecture initiatives. . Establish reusable architecture patterns and standards across applications.Hands-on Technical Contribution:. Remain hands-on with .NET (Framework and .NET 9/10) codebases for critical components. . Experience with Angular / AngularJS and modern front-end integration patterns . Review solution designs, code (PRs), architecture decisions, and CI/CD pipelines. . Support complex production issues and guide resolution from an architectural standpoint. . Validate implementation against defined architecture standards and best practices.Cross-Team & Vendor Collaboration:. Act as technical SPOC across internal teams and external vendors. . Drive alignment of implementations with architecture guidelines and enterprise standards. . Mentor engineers, technical leads, and teams across multiple programs. . Facilitate architecture discussions and decision-making forums. Strategic & Governance Responsibilities:. Establish and enforce architecture governance models and decision frameworks. . Partner with business and product teams to align technology with business outcomes. . Contribute to technology roadmap planning, including modernization and platform evolution. . Drive engineering excellence, standardization, and long-term maintainability. Required Skills & Experience:Core Technical Skills:. Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, .NET 6/8, with exposure to .NET 9/10 . Experience with Angular / AngularJS and modern front-end integration patterns . Proven experience in modernizing large-scale legacy enterprise applications . Strong understanding of modern architecture principles: o Microservices & modular architecture o Event-driven systems o API-first design . Experience designing cloud-ready or hybrid application architectures . Strong experience with SQL Server (performance tuning, data design, optimization)Architecture & Engineering:. Experience defining enterprise-level solution architectures . Strong understanding of: o Scalability & performance engineering o Security & reliability o Maintainability & observability . Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation . Ability to balance hands-on development with architectural leadership Nice to Have (Differentiators):. Strong ability to understand, maintain, and modernize legacy .NET applications (Framework) into modern .NET architectures .
