About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR)/ Enterprise Account Manager with a strong background in the Background Verification (BGV).
In this role, you will drive lead generation and sales growth for BGV solutions within the Indian market.
You'll connect with CHROs, HR Directors, and Talent Acquisition leaders to promote our background screening and HR compliance offerings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience selling BGV or related HR Tech solutions, be comfortable managing a high volume of outreach, and excel at qualifying prospects, building strong pipelines, and handling the end-to-end sales cycle - from lead generation and prospecting to demos, negotiations, and deal closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Identify and qualify leads within the BGV Industry to generate meetings and demos.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
- Close sales and consistently achieve quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct in-depth research on accounts, identify key decision-makers, and generate interest in product offerings.
- Maintain and expand a robust database of prospects within your assigned territory.
- Collaborate with channel partners to build the sales pipeline and close deals.
- Understand customers needs and identify sales opportunities to address their pain points.
- Respond to potential customers queries and share additional product and service information as needed.
- Stay up to date with product updates and service offerings to effectively communicate with prospects.
- Demonstrate the features and benefits of products and services in a compelling manner.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 18 years of experience in inside sales or business development, preferably in the BGV industry with a demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of outbound calls.
- Proficiency in using corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
- Experience working with CRM software, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar platforms.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively pitch HR Tech products and services.
- Strong listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritize workload.
- Minimum of 1 to 8 years of experience in sales within the Indian market.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a sales-driven environment.
- Familiarity with the sales administration process and lead qualification methods.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience selling HR Tech, Recruitment Tech, or Background Verification solutions.
- Experience selling to large enterprises with 5,000+ employees.
- Outbound prospecting, cold calling, and email outreach to senior HR leaders and decision-makers.
- Ability to craft compelling sales emails, presentations, and proposals tailored to specific prospects.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and challenges faced by HR leaders in large enterprises.
- Familiarity with international markets (MENA, APAC, Europe) is a plus.
- Sales certifications such as HubSpot Inbound Sales, Challenger Sales, or similar qualifications
