Account Director Large Accounts – Chennai

Location: Chennai

Reporting to: Executive Vice President – India Sales

Role Purpose

Lead and scale one of the organization's largest strategic revenue accounts by driving 40%+ YoY growth, horizontal expansion, and continuous value addition. Own end-to-end account P&L, ensure strong delivery alignment, and position the organization as a long-term transformation partner.

Core Responsibilities

1) Account Ownership & Revenue Growth

- Own P&L and overall account performance

- Drive 40%+ YoY growth across portfolios and service lines

- Maximize wallet share and profitability

- Ensure predictable and scalable growth

2) Strategic Account Leadership

- Define and execute multi-year account strategy

- Align with client transformation and IT strategy

- Position organization as a strategic partner

- Drive executive-level alignment

3) Client Growth & Horizontal Expansion

- Expand across business units, functions, and geographies

- Drive expansion of AI-led Test Automation, Continuous Testing, Observability & SRE

- Build multi-service footprint

4) Value Delivery & Delivery Alignment

- Ensure continuous value realization

- Partner with delivery for quality and innovation

- Drive growth from existing engagements

5) Governance & Executive Engagement

- Lead QBRs and governance meetings

- Build CXO relationships (CIO, CTO, business heads)

- Ensure strong governance and risk management

6) Account Growth Engine

- Account mapping and stakeholder coverage

- White-space identification

- Demand generation and workshops

- Alignment across sales and delivery

- Account Growth: 40% YoY

- Large deals: 3–6+ ($3M+)

2) Account Expansion

- Increased business units and services

- Multi-tower growth

3) Sales Effectiveness

- Pipeline: 3–5x

Experience & Skills

- 12–18 years in IT services account management

- Experience managing large ($20M+) accounts

- QA/Testing, Observability, Cloud, AI/GenAI exposure
