English Writing Generalist – Quality Review (AI Training)

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role that puts your editorial judgment to work on real AI projects. If you're the kind of person who notices a misplaced comma or an awkward sentence before anyone else does, this role was made for you.

What You'll Do
- Review AI-generated English text for grammar, tone, clarity, and overall quality
- Improve readability and flow without altering the original meaning or intent
- Identify inconsistencies, ambiguous language, and subtle stylistic issues
- Apply consistent editorial judgment across high volumes of content
- Provide structured, actionable feedback using evaluation guidelines
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Native or near-native English fluency with strong written communication skills
- Sharp proofreading and editing instincts — you catch what others miss
- Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, systematic approach to quality
- Comfortable reviewing diverse content types and writing styles at scale
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- No prior AI or tech experience required
Nice to Have
- Background in writing, editing, journalism, publishing, or communications
- Experience with quality assurance, copyediting, or content evaluation
- Familiarity with style guides (AP, Chicago, etc.)
- Experience using AI tools or content platforms as an end user
