Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) - English to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, a love for literature, and the ability to inspire students to develop critical thinking, communication, and creative writing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons for middle and secondary school students.
- Foster a love for literature, language, and effective communication.
- Develop students reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, including digital tools, to enhance learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and feedback.
- Encourage participation in debates, elocution, drama, and creative writing competitions.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary learning experiences.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in English (B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification preferred).
- Minimum 3-4 years of teaching experience (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
- Strong knowledge of English grammar, literature, and composition.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to motivate students.
- Familiarity with modern teaching aids and e-learning platforms.
- Creative, patient, and adaptable teaching approach.
