Role OverviewWe are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic English Tutor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills and be passionate about delivering engaging, high-quality online lessons. A key part of this role involves converting demo classes into long-term enrollments through strong presentation skills and relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities- Engaging Lesson Delivery: Teach English (grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing) through interactive virtual classes tailored to each student's level.
- Student Engagement: Create a motivating and fun learning environment to ensure consistent participation and progress.
- Parent Communication: Maintain regular, professional communication with parents to discuss performance and learning goals.
- Progress Tracking: Record attendance, evaluate student development, and maintain reports in our online systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Seek and apply feedback to enhance lesson quality, presentation skills, and student retention.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in English / Education / Linguistics or a related field (Master's degree or teaching certifications are a plus)
- Prior online tutoring or teaching experience preferred
- Strong experience in demo conversions will be an added advantage
Skills & Attributes- Excellent command of spoken and written English (neutral accent preferred)
- High enthusiasm, confidence, and strong presentation skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport with students & parents
- Familiarity in online teaching tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Sales-oriented mindset to drive demo conversions positively
