Role Description This is a full-time, on-site English Teacher role based in Hyderabad. The English Teacher will plan and deliver engaging English language lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and holistic philosophy for the assigned grades. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment, integrating digital tools and experiential activities, and collaborating with colleagues and school leadership on academic planning. The teacher will also communicate regularly with parents or guardians, participate in staff meetings, training sessions, school events, and support co-curricular and life skills initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with the ability to deliver age-appropriate, engaging lessons across different grade levels.
- Competence in Lesson Planning and Education practices, including designing objectives, activities, and assessments that support diverse learners.
- Excellent Communication skills for effective interaction with students, families, and colleagues, both in the classroom and in school-wide activities.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field; a recognized teaching qualification or certification is preferred.
- Prior classroom teaching experience, ideally in school settings and with familiarity in modern, activity-based or digital learning methodologies.
- Ability to create an inclusive, learner-centered environment that supports ethical values, cultural sensitivity, and holistic development.
- Comfort using educational technology, digital content, and assessment tools to enhance teaching and learning.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a school team.
