Job Purpose
To plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons that foster language proficiency, creativity, and a love for reading and writing among primary students, in alignment with the school's curriculum standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily English lessons integrating listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that supports student learning and curiosity.
- Prepare and implement lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and learner needs.
- Use innovative teaching strategies and digital tools to enhance student engagement.
- Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate records of achievement.
- Provide feedback to students and parents through reports and meetings.
- Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary learning and co-curricular activities.
- Ensure classroom management, discipline, and adherence to school policies.
- Participate in school events, assemblies, and professional development sessions.
- Support students overall development and well-being.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong command of English (spoken and written).
- Ability to engage young learners creatively and effectively.
- Classroom management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with inquiry-based and student-centered learning approaches.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital teaching tools.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with B.Ed. in English or Elementary Education.
- 25 years of teaching experience, preferably in international or CBSE/IB curriculum schools.
