English Teacher- CIE

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English Language and Literature according to CIE syllabus requirements.
• Develop and implement assessment strategies aligned with Cambridge standards.
• Prepare students thoroughly for IGCSE, AS, and A-Level exams.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students.
• Use a variety of teaching methodologies and resources, including digital tools.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
• Participate in curriculum planning, departmental meetings, and professional development.
• Support extracurricular activities such as debating, writing clubs, or literary events.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field.
• Teaching certification/license and/or Cambridge teaching qualifications preferred.
• Proven experience teaching Cambridge English Language and Literature syllabus.
• Strong understanding of CIE exam format, assessment criteria, and standards.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate international student cohorts.
• Proficiency in integrating technology into lessons.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CELTA, DELTA, or equivalent teaching certification.
• Experience with international or British curricula.
• Additional skills in educational technology or e-learning platforms.
• Experience mentoring or training junior teachers.
