Job Description

Role - Operations Manager - Assessment Development Department

Experience -= 4+ years

Woerk Location - Hyderabad

Worm Mode - Hybrid (3 days WFO & 2 days WFH)

Required Notice Period - Immediate Joiners

Note - We need a candidate who is currently working in the Assessment Development department and/or is willing to handle operations activities. A candidate with EdTech experience will be a good fit.

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manager/Senior Manager to lead the Operations team. He/she will be responsible for managing a team of 80-100 people, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with quality standards, and seamless coordination across cross-functional teams. A working knowledge of assessment workflows, academics, and scoring will be beneficial.

Responsibiliters

  • Lead and manage the Assessment Operations team of 80100 employees in India.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of tasks.
  • Collaborate with US counterparts to align processes, share best practices, and ensure smooth coordination across geographies.
  • Drive process improvements, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and efficiency initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to academic and operational integrity, compliance, and organizational policies.
  • Mentor, coach, and manage the professional growth of team members and managers.
  • Prepare reports, updates, and insights for leadership and global stakeholders.
  • Manage account-level P&L with responsibility for cost optimization, resource planning, and financial performance.
  • Create and present account highlights, dashboards, and business reviews for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Postgraduate degree in Education, Management, or a related academic field.
  • 4+years of relevant experience in academia, assessments, or large-scale operations.
  • Proven experience in P&L ownership, financial planning, and account management.
  • Strong track record of leading large teams (80100 employees or more).
  • Experience working with US or global stakeholders in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
